All but one of the themed photogalleries made up the initial presentation of photoportals.com (signs came later). Since then it's seemed more appropriate to greet each new destination with a gallery highlighted with the name of that city, state, country, or region.

Grouping the themed photogalleries together and distinguishing them from the destination photogalleries seems like a natural next step. Although the themes are diverse, each gives us a way of looking at the world which is different from seeing what a single locale has to offer.
